Asking for Prayer
I went to the ER last Tuesday because I was having a stomacache and intense pain in my back. An abdominal ultrsound was done on Wednesday. I got the results today. It turns out that I have quite a few gallstones. My doctor is referring me to a surgeon. The possibility of having surgery scares me especially since I am pregnant. Please pray.

Praying for you!
I just had my gallbladder removed at 18 weeks pregnant. The earlier the better is usually best, since that means that baby is further from the gallbladder, unless you can wait it out until after delivery. With anesthesia, and laparoscopic surgery, the biggest risks are usually just the stress your body goes through, but if they're considering surgery before you deliver, then it will probably be less stress than what your body is under right now
